I've just released version 1.9, which supports saving data to SD card. To preserve maximum fidelity, data coming from Forerunner 301, 205, 305 and Edge 205 and 305 is saved in TCX format. Data from Forerunner 110, 210 and Edge 500 and 800 is saved in FIT format. Both the Garmin Training Center and Garmin Connect accepts TCX and FIT, so you can upload to Connect directly from your tablet (a file manager is required at this stage; soon, you'll be able to upload directly from Sportablet).

Here is how it works: open your activity and click Share. This popup will appear:
Click on Save to SD card. After a short while, a confirmation message will be shown:
there you'll see the destination folder and file name in the right panel. Generally speaking, all the files will be saved under a sportablet folder, located under your Download folder (whenever your tablet mounts that - it's not standardized in Android).

Note: if you can't see the file from your PC, unplug the tablet and plug it in again. Sometimes Android is lazy with refreshing.

Version 1.7 supports the Garmin Forerunner 210 as well. Get it on Google Play:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.carlopescio.sportablet

Another Garmin makes into the list of supported devices. Next feature: export to sd card :-).

Version 1.6 supports the Forerunner 110 as well (as usual, some tablets support USB better than others)

Sportablet now supports the Edge 500. So far, I've only tested it on one tablet model. Give it a try!
